Turkey run is a sports activity often scheduled together with the Thanksgiving holiday to make it more fun. It is organized to promote fitness and to promote fundraising to help the school in some extra or non-official needs. Funds are raised according to the number of laps run per student. Parents sign up for a certain amount per lap or donate a fixed amount for their child’s participation. It is also organized for the students to show their performance and skill in track. Teachers, parents and staff also participate with the director to encourage the competitive spirit of the students.

Funds raised so far have been used to build a large ‘paillote’ to cover the elementary school playground. The proceeds from recent runs are being added to other funds to build outside showers for students.
